Mami Shikimori “Exquisite” Sunday Times

Described by the BBC Music Magazine, “sheer delight” and “dazzling”, Mami Shikimori has performed at major concert venues including New York’s Carnegie Hall, London’s Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Cadogan Hall, Bridgewater Hall and Tokyo’s Suntory Hall.

She has broadcast on BBC Radio 3, Classic FM, as well as NHK in Japan, the Grand 101 in Canada, and on Classical KUSK, Americas largest classical music station. Mami’s latest album, her chamber music debut with the Wihan Quartet was chosen as the “Chamber Choice” in the BBC Music Magazine.

Mami’s solo album “Tchaikovsky Piano Music” on Naxos has been received with critical acclaim in the UK, Japan, France, Spain and the USA and was featured in Classic FM’s “Rarely heard gems”.
